Artenosi also introduced a new Mission and Vision for BDAR:
BDAR Mission:
Supporting BDAR REALTORS® to be valued, trusted and successful professionals in the community.
BDAR Vision:
Professional REALTORS® are the first choice for informed consumers. Membership in BDAR is instrumental to REALTOR® success.
“BDAR’s main purpose is to see its members succeed – this means supporting members and helping them reach their fullest potential,” said Artenosi. “As the local professional association, BDAR offers members access to tools, training and resources to increase professionalism and keep them at the leading edge of technology and industry best-practices. This benefits anyone looking to buy or sell in our region by having the best Realtors® available to assist with all transactions.”
At the Open House, as part of BDAR’s “Give Where You Live” charity campaign, the Association gave out over $13,000.00 to local charities. BDAR gave $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help build housing for families in need in our region and another $3,076 to Youth Haven to provide shelter for teenagers who have no place to turn for shelter.
“BDAR believes strongly in giving back to our community – both these organizations align with our beliefs of safe, supportive, affordable and accessible housing for people in need in our community,” Artenosi said.
New Facility is Another Member Benefit
BDAR’s new facility is a Member and community hub. As such, each member has five rental credits to use the facility to help meet their needs. Offering free rental credits to members is a value-added benefit BDAR is providing to encourage members to use this new facility. BDAR is also offering a “Member Referral Program” where community organizations may rent the facility at a lower rate when they are referred to BDAR by a member.
